3 Hazards In My Home
The three potentional air quality hazards in my home, which I know of are, Tobacco, Household chemicals and carpet and rug.
Tobacco smoking itself and environmental tobacco smoke also known as second hand smoke causes all sorts of repertory health problems like lung cancer. Due to this kids are at increased risk infections of pneumonia and bronchitis and are more likely to have symptoms like, cough, phlegm and wheeze. Asthmatic children are more at risk. My mom smokes, my older son has asthma so we have solved our tobacco problem by having my mom smoke outdoors with the door closed, because no matter how much you ventilate your home indoor smoking cannot be avoided.
