A Call To Serve
I am a member of the Army National Guard. I enlisted on July 16, 1998, as a diesel mechanic. Almost six and a half years later, I continue to serve my state and my country. I find a great pride in my service. It has allowed me to continue my education. As the fifth child of dairy farmers, I never would have been able to go to college on my own.
In this day and age in America, there is a great novelty. This novelty is the United States military. The US military functions on a total volunteer basis.
