The strength of the economy should be one of the first major considerations when a consumer decides to purchase a house. The consumer must use rational, facts, and logic so the marginal benefits outweigh the marginal costs. For instance, one of the marginal benefits might be the fact that the new home is closer to work, thus taking less gas to drive to work and less wear and tear on the vehicle.
