I chose “The Joy Luck Club” because it has a very high impact on the Chinese culture, the women and the men. This movie narrates the story of four Chinese mothers and their American daughters. After her mother’s death, June, the main character, is asked to take place in a mahjong club. This is where “The Joy Luck Club” begins.
