Human beings would die without food, water, and shelter. But would people be able to survive without knowledge? Francis Bacon once said, “Knowledge is power†(Bacon). This frequently used statement exemplifies the fundamental importance of knowledge. Knowledge may be power, but is it essential to ones’ existence?
