A Woman’s Right
A woman gaining the right to vote was one of the greatest achievements in American History. The road there was paved with injustice, cruelty and malice. It took Seventy-two years for women to gain this particular right, and not for lack of trying on their part. Throughout those years many associations were formed, and countless women risked their lives to gain suffrage. Some included Alice Paul, Lucy Burns, and Elizabeth Stanton.
