Daniel Potter worked for Baker Greenleaf, considered one of the “Big Eight” accounting firms in 1976. Dan had vigorously studied the code of ethics set forth by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). He familiarized himself with any ethical situation he could possibly encounter as a CPA and would be expected to solve in the most ethical way possible.
