I suffer from the disease of addiction. I was active in my addiction for three years and my addiction destroyed my life. I became a shell of a woman, who only looked forward to my next hit. I hurt many people. I lost myself. It wasn’t until I reached my true bottom did I choose to change. Addiction is a devastating disease, with treatment, recovery is possible and relapse can be prevented because millions of people have won their battle against addiction.
