Adirondack Environment

Many people are attracted to our Adirondack Park because it is clean and peaceful. Lake Luzerne Lake is one of the many lakes in the Adirondack that people continue to swim and fish in. It is located in a small town and it is surrounded by houses and underground septic systems. Each summer, the lake is filled with people swimming, fishing, and boating. There is also a bathroom located next to beach. People who live near the lake also use fertilizers to keep their lawns green and healthy. While all of this looks perfect, testing shows that if the lake isn’t being taken care of properly, the beach may be shut down due to bad water quality.
