For many, war is evil; for others it is a way of life. In the book Slaughter House Five, war changes Billy’s life forever, giving him a different perspective of it ever since he went to war. Some could say that Billy is crazy, but some of his arguments prove that he thinks on a higher intellectual level. Even though his ideas are a bit crazy, they do capture an essence of truth in many ways.
