Alice and Cruelty
In Nina Auerbach’s “Alice in Wonderland: A Curious Child,” Auerbach focuses on Alice’s cruelty to animals throughout the book “Alice in Wonderland.” I disagree with Auerbach’s opinion on the cruelty of the characters but I admire her effort to prove her point.
Some of Auerbach’s article gives the reader an in-depth look on how exactly Alice treats the characters of Wonderland, particularly the characters who are animals.
