Alumina: Liability and Management
The simulation for this week was on Alumina, a company that had liabilities brought against them five years ago. Alumina has current tort liabilities due to the previous lawsuits and recent complaints that brought on potential risks. After comparing these new allegations to the company’s previous liabilities these risk have proven to be significant. After viewing the simulation I have identified the following tort liabilities and regulatory risks as defamation, negligence, strict liability, and first amendment.
