When looking at the book The Atlantic Slave Trade part three the Middle Passage and the movie we watched in class Amistad, it clearly shows differences and similarities about the slave trade. When reading the book there were many differences and many similarities. The book was much more detailed about what really went on during the slave trades. The movie just showed enough that you could get the point that the slave trades were cruel and inhuman. The events the book and the movie have in common is that in the in the movie it talks about how the slaves on the ship barely are given any food to eat or barely any water. The slaves that are sick or hurt do not receive any food or water...
