Anna Halprin
Anna Halprin has created 150 full length dance theatre works. She is a pioneer in the world of dance. She felt the need to redefine dance, turn it into a more primal thing. She saw dance as a part of life. However, she believed that the dance that was out there was not real, it was “expressionlessâ€. She described it as all movement and that it had become elite.
