The publics first impression and general reactions to Michelangelo’s David and Marcel Duchamp’s Nude descending a staircase, was pure determent and misunderstanding of the two pieces context. The public rejected to view the pieces for what they were, but only viewed and ridiculed the pieces for what they saw and did not understand.
