Aseptic technique is the task of completing a procedure under controlled conditions to minimize contamination. Contamination can be caused from a variety of factors; the environment, equipment, and people. To prepare sterile products with an aseptic technique of a class 100, which means that the room or environment can not contain more than 100 airborne particles, this can be achieved with the help of a laminar or vertical flow hood.
