Wal-Mart is interested in starting business in Kava. Wal-Mart would like to be a large presence in Kava. Kava being in the South Pacific, brings many natural disasters to the island. Kava has had tidal waves, tsunamis, hurricanes, tornados, floods, fires, volcanic eruptions, earthquakes and petroleum spills. These natural disasters have destroyed many businesses, homes, and taken lives in Kava. Health issues have plagued the island such as avian flu and HIV/AIDS.
