For me learning about other religions and beliefs are important because it helps to understand what shapes the person. There are many things that can affect the way a person is and who they are; religion is just one of those factors. The beliefs from a religion can change a persons values and morals depending on how strong they belief in their religion.
I have always been open to learning about new religions and things that I did not know, and this was a wonderful learning experience for me.
