Visual traits are often the first thing we notice when evaluation someone. The visual traits we use to evaluate people include hairstyle, clothing style, movements, and interactions with others (Morris & Maisto). We often form opinions based on what we see and tend to make incorrect assumptions about people. These first impressions can affect how we interact with this person and are often hard to ignore or change.
