The Child Internet Protection Act is a valuable law which protects minors from unwholesome Internet content. With out it children might encounter harmful, obscene, or pornographic pictures. In addition to preventing access to inappropriate information, the act is also supposed to; protect minors safety when using direct forms of Internet communication, and put in place preventative measures against the disclosure of their personal information including social networking. Despite being received as unconstitutional by some this law is valid for two reasons.
