Case Study 1: The fall of the Weimar Republic
After the First World War, Germany became a democracy with government officials voted in by the people. However, because of the different parties voted into different offices at the same time, the government could not run smoothly. Everyone had an idea of how Germany should be ran, from avoiding war and following the rules of the treaty of Versailles, to building a military to get back what was taken from them.
