Crucible

The Crucible by Arthur Miller

After reading the book, The Crucible by Arthur Miller, and then seeing the movie, I realize that there are many differences between them. The differences between the book and the movie include the dialogue, the feeling/setting, and minor plot changes.
In the book, the language is consistent to the language of people in the 1690’s. By this, I mean that it is old-English and very detailed. Also, some of the words they use are old-fashioned and, today, outdated. In the movie the long paragraphs of dialogue were cut down to save time and make it easier to understand.
