A person might wonder why it is essential to health maintenance to make sure that they drink plenty of water. Well the body is 60% of water. In younger children it is a higher percentage. It is about 70%. Water decreases in older adults. Water can be found in vary of proportions of tissue within the body. Mussels are about 75% water and the bones are about 25% water. Some water is even found in cell within the body, which is called, intracellular fluid. Some are even considered extracellular fluids that are located in the outside cells.
