Describing Cpt Coding
They are three types of CPT codes and are divided into categories. These codes are categorized and needed for every service and procedure that is performed in health care organizations these codes act like identifiers in patient’s files.
Category one codes is Level one and is categorized by the way, it is organized. First we must understand this is the first rule in the plan. The codes have five digits that are used as a descriptive and applied for every service that is rendered.
