Catholicism has many different aspects surrounding it that we have discussed in class. Rabanus Maurus’s “on the feast of the Epiphany†sums up a great deal of attraction to Catholicism. Though certain aspects of the Church are related to wealth and have ties to nobility, he states that Catholicism asks for nothing more than devotion and strong faith. In that it is a religion of strong morals surrounding one God rather than other religions which seemed more complicated and decentralized.
