Ed Gein

Ed Gein is one of Americas most notorious serial killers. Although he was only charged for two murders, he was suspected for many more. Ed Gein was born on August 8, 1906 in La Crosse, Wisconsin. He mother was Augusta and his father was George. Ed also had a brother named Henry. His mother Augusta owned a grocery store in La Crosse. She saved up enough money to have her family move out of the city and into a farming community in Plainfield, Wisconsin. Ed was a very solitary child mostly because of his mothers extreme beliefs. Augusta Gein was a very protective woman toward her sons. She taught them that sex was sinful and that all women other than herself were whores.
