McDonald’s. Kroc wrote a letter to Walk Disney asking if he could open a restaurant in the Disneyland Development. Disney suggested that Kroc raise the prices on his fries from ten cents to fifteen cents, but Kroc did not agree to this as he felt this would hurt his loyal customers. Kroc created a fast food empire out of the McDonald brothers’ Speedee Service System, spreading it nationwide. Eventually Ronald McDonald and McDonaldland were presented and McDonald’s became a household name.
