Why Ferdinand Magellan’s voyage was was so important and so difficult



This voyage marks the beginning of the end for sea exploration. Magellan found the Pacific, an alternative route to the Spice Islands also the circumnavigation of the world. They faced a brick wall of mutiny, starvation, death ad many other things. Only a few were able to climb the brick wall of many difficulties, most succumbed to the black tar that engulfed the weak. But some reached for the greener grass on the other side and by doing that taking the world by shock. Only 1 ship, The Victoria, completed the voyage with 18 men left when 256 men and 5 boats started. The weary hearts...
