Fidel Castro’s Impact on America
Fidel Castro was born on August 13, 1926. He is one of five children. He grew up under very wealthy circumstances (Abacha, Gilmore 185). Castro was a very intelligent student. He memorized entire books and studied very hard (Abacha, Gilmore 186). As a boy Fidel disregarded all forms of rules and authority, acting very violent if his requests were not met. It appears that his father’s violent temperature was inherited by Fidel. In spite of his insubordinate and aggressive life, he had a brilliant mind for learning (Abacha, Gilmore 186).
