Looking at the ten-year bull market in gold, several factors suggest that the rise in gold prices has been not only relatively calm and un-bubble like, but it has actually been a rational reaction to both fundamental problems with Western economies as a whole as well as a lack of acceptable returns on investments in other asset classes.
