Government role changes
As can be seen, the Second World War’s influence on the government could be huge. Government used to controlled all the industrial production, transportation, agriculture and goods, as well as the economics and financial system. However, this brought about the high levels of government spending, poor industrial relations, stagflation, and unstable welfare. Therefore, the government changed its role from the basis of collectivism to the basis of neo-liberalism. In this essay, the key concepts of collectivism and neo-liberalism will be explained specifically with some important examples as well as the government role’s changing process.
