A lot of buildings still standing have Greek or Roman architecture design; most are famous buildings/sculptures. For example the arch was originated from Roman architecture and columns originated from Greek architecture. These architecture designs and inventions have been the foundation for our buildings throughout history. Greeks used Doric, Ionic and Corinthian style, all three have similar components but different in their details. Greeks were known to have great faith in their gods and created marvelous temples to honor their gods. The temple of Zeus dating back to the 5th century BC has enormous columns just as many of their temples; it’s a basic element in Greek architecture....
