Hinduism
Hinduism is a religious tradition that originated in the Indian subcontinent. It consists of a creator, destroyer, and the All-Pervading essence of all beings. Brahma is the creator, Shiva is the destroyer, and Vishnu is the master of the past, present, and the future who sustains and governs the Universe. Brahma is analogous to God in the Bible in the sense that they both created the world as we know it. The excerpt from, “Death and rebirth of the Universe†portrays Vishnu as an armed warrior on a white horse with a sword descending upon Earth for its ultimate destruction.
