Sanatana Dharma which is also known as Hinduism is the dominant religion in Nepal and India. This religion should not be mistaken for religions like Buddhism, Jainism, and Sikhism which are also present in the region. Sacred text that consists of hymns, incarnations, and rituals of ancient India are known as Vedas in Hinduism. The Ramayana is another sacred book in the religion of Hinduism that consists of a story of love with moral and spiritual themes which are present in India today. A few more sacred text of Hinduism are Mahabharata, Brahamana, Sutras, Puranas, and the Aranyakas.
