Hydration

Water is a soldier’s single greatest asset when it comes to fighting dehydration and the effects caused by it when it is gone untreated. It is estimated that 75% of Americans are chronically dehydrated which is odd because water is second only to air as essential to life. Water plays crucial roles in all bodily functions by providing a medium for chemical reaction, lubrication system, nutrition and waste transport, heat dissipation, and temperature control.
