Killer Angels
K iller Angels is the story of the Battle of Gettysburg. It all started on July 1, 1863. The Army of Northern Virginia (Confederates) and the Army of the Potomac (Union) fought the largest battle of the American Civil War. Fifty-one thousand men died or wounded during this battle. All the characters in the novel are based on real historical figures.
In the beginning, a spy comes and tells people that he has seen the Union army moving nearby. This information surprises Longstreet because General J. E. B. is supposed to be tracking the Union army with his cavalry. The Confederates swing southeast through the mountains and towards Gettysburg. This is how the war...
