Legalize Homosexual Adoption In Florida
you know that there is a shortage of adoptive and foster parents in the United States? More then 500,000 children nationally are in foster care awaiting adoption. Did you know that Florida is the only state that explicitly bans gays and lesbians from adopting children? Florida actually evaluates adoption applications from those who have failed at previous adoptions and those with a history of drug abuse or domestic violence but yet will not let willing and loving gay couples to adopt. For these reasons and more is why I believe Florida should allow homosexuals to adopt.
