Literary Extension and Analysis
American Indians play a crucial part in the formation of The United States of America. They have gone through many trials and tribulations that have affected their way of life throughout the years. There have been many Native American writers, women and men, which have spoken about events which have occurred throughout their history. Sarah Winnemucca Hopkins, a Piute Indian, wrote various stories, fictional and non-fictional, about the ways of her tribe (McQuade et al,. 1999).
