Love is a feeling that is nearly impossible to explain, to some the task cannot be handled, but to the widely celebrate poet, Jalal ad-Din ar- Rumi was able to capture the emotion with essence and soul. Rumi today is a highly celebrated poet; undoubtedly back in the thirteenth century Rumi was the most famous writer of the time. Rumi was born north of Afghanistan in a town called Balkh, where he eventually evacuated to Konya where his family settled (Ruud).
