Its 5 a.m in the morning and there’s a certain feeling when you step out onto the ice. Your adrenaline starts to rush and all you can here is your team mates heavy breathing and your coaches whistle. “Pain feeds the soul” my coach yells as we skate up and down the ice at such an ungodly hour in the morning when most high school kids are in bed still. There are certain sacrifices you take for the things you love and hockey is one of those things I would sacrifice a lot for.
