The image of private security have been up and down since its beginnings. Private security has both its benefits and detriments. In some movies, private security is sometimes portrayed as a dirty form of law enforcement and that it doesn't use the proper tactics to subdue and individual. Others have viewed private security as a handy form of law enforcement that can do things that police officers are not able to do. There are a few examples that I read in the article that gave me reasons why private security is important.
