I just inherited $100,000 from my mother and I have decided to invest this money into a savings plan for my child’s education. I have looked at two different types of 529 savings plans: The Michigan Education Savings Program and the Michigan Education Trust program. After comparing the two plans I have chosen to go with the Michigan Education Savings Program. The following data will summarize my decision.
